Iniciativa Terra Amada
Para o ano de 2013-2014 a iniciativa TERRA AMADA irá desenvolver uma ação de voluntariado / estaleiro-escola, a ter lugar entre 24 Julho e 3 Agosto. Esta ação irá realizar obras de conservação e reabilitação na aldeia de Vale de Papas, concelho de Cinfães, com base em mão-de-obra voluntária de cerca de 60 estudantes de arquitetura e engenharia e arquitetos 7 engenheiros estagiários, nacionais e estrangeiros, sob a direção de mestres-de-obras e técnicos experientes do sector, também estes voluntários, e com os materiais assegurados pelas empresas associadas.
Face ao ano anterior, a iniciativa alargou o seu âmbito de atuação, não só no que diz respeito à dimensão das intervenções como aos seus objetivos, que ultrapassam agora em muito a mera obra física para se tornar num verdadeiro projeto integrado de desenvolvimento local.
In 2013-2014, TERRA AMADA will implement a voluntary initiative, taking place between 24th of July and 5th of August. This initiative will carry out several conservation and rehabilitation works in the village of Vale de Papas, municipality of Cinfães. It will be executed with the workforce of 60 architecture/engineering students and trainee architects/engineers (both Portuguese and foreign nationalities can apply), under the technical orientation of master-builders and experienced experts, also volunteers, and with the materials donated by the associated companies.
Compared with last year, the initiative as broadened its scope, both in terms of the number and dimension of the interventions and in terms of goals and impact, that now go far beyond the physical construction turning this initiative a part of an integrated project of local development.
